Celebrate Life Below Water. Eat Blue

Photos show damage from the California oil spill

144,000 gallons of oil have spilled into the Pacific Ocean surrounding Southern California. The spill is having devastating impacts to beach ecosystems, birds, and other ocean wildlife. Further, oil spills can harm human health by tainting surrounding air and water, and harming food supplies as seafood consumption may become unsafe through accumulations of toxins in marine organisms.

We at Eat Blue are hoping for a speedy and successful recovery for marine life and community members.
