When the pandemic hit, many seafood workers left high and dry due to the climbing price of seafood, “employment shortage, port congestion, lack of product, rising prices and transportation issues.” This inflationary surge has put immense pressure on seafood places and their ability to put seafood and fish dishes on their menus.
